New computer now, or wait for Sandy Bridge...

I was looking at a new build:
i7 980x
12gb 1333mhz ram
2x EVGA super clocked gtx480s
1x gtx 460 2gb physx
Asus p6x58d-premium
Azza Hurrican 2000 w/360mm radiator liquid cooling
dvd-rw+blu-ray drives
1200w CoolerMaster Silent Pro Gold 80 Plus
128gb SSD sata3
$3,997.00
maybe with a 3rd gtx 480 for $4,669.00 would also have Asus Rampage III Extreme

Now I know that it is not only obscene but I already have more than enough computer. But I can't seem to help myself so hold off on the lectures. The only real question is with the Sandy Bridge technology coming out Q1 2011, should I wait and rebuild then or not worry about it?

Anyone with an opinion, or info on the suspected performance increase in the new tech? This will in all honesty be for gaming, but my math professor and I are also going to use it for some insane calculations too so I want alot of power. Do you think that it will be a night and day difference with the new stuff coming out?
 
Waste of money.
Build a $1500 -2000 computer now should run everything. Why spending $4000 now??
When sandy bridge is out, just sell your current one and spend another $2000 on new.
 
No, better yet wait for bulldozer (the g34 socket one, not the am3 one) 16 cores 32 threads. Need i say more?
