Hi, im looking at getting a new computer as my current one is a bit old now. Im not needing a laptop at this moment in time so i just want a tower. i have looked at sites like pc world but was wondering if i could get a better spec if i had one custom built?

i would use it mainly for photo editing, a few games, and just browing the internet. price i will go to £350-400.

cheers for any ideas, there seems to be so many different options and im now a bit

thankyou ian

this is the problem really. i dont know whether i can trust these online custom build sites, in terms of aftersales and build quality that is.

i was going to go with something from dell but i have heard reports of bad build quality as far as they are concerned.

Hmm, im not from the UK so i really cant say anything good or bad about that site. I do know that cyberpower is a pretty decent one if you configure a good power supply:

everyday use such as photo editing, music, web browsing although the ability to play a few games would be nice but not essential (i have an xbox)

By far, Custom building it yourself is the cheapest way to get a computer, with that being said i would recommend a computer with good specs incase any software in the future requires it, if you like i can look about for some good computers?
