New computer, problems...

Hi,
I just brought a new computer, but it is not working :(
This is what i did :
1. Install the cpu on the mobo
2. Install the cpu cooler
3. Install the ram
4. Install the mobo on the case
4b. Screw
5. Install the Hard drive
6. Install the Optical Drive
7. Install the GPU
7. Install the PSU
8. Keyboard and mouse
9. Connect the 24 pin of the PSU on the mobo
10. Connect the PSU to a source

And disappointedly, no response...

These r my specs :
CPU : i7 930
Ram 3x2 GB Gskills 16000
Mobo: gigabyte x58-udr3 rev.2
Hard drive : WD caviar black 1 tb 64mb sata 6 gb/s
Optical Drive 22x writer
case: antec 900
Keyboard and mouse : wireless (attach by usb 2.0)
GPU: gigabyre ati radeon 4670

Not even a sound. Only a back blue light of clr cmos. Please help me

did you use an anti static kit when building the machine ?

and have you checked the power supply using a digital psu tester ?

Thank u for replying :) I didn't use the anti-static kit but i touched the computer case and the psu every 5 minutes or less and i used a pair of plastic glove when I installed the cpu.

It is now working. The blue lights of the fans goes for 5 seconds but it automatically restart after. There is no display even if I put the keyboard usb. There is light on the mobo.
What is the problem now?
 
Did you install the brass standoffs into the case, before you installed the motherboard? if not, you'll need to take out the mobo and install all of the standoffs. Otherwise it short circuits.
