new computer setup/ worth it?

OK so i got a new computer about 2 weeks ago it was a used system, but the guy wants it back so I'm thinking because the spects are not really that good max is 2 gigs of ram and a 1.8 processor i think I'm better off just getting my 250 back and buying a new motherboard processor ram and OS but I'm kinda new to this stuff so this is what I'm thinking tell me if it is a good setup im new to this so if i left anything out that i will NEED to have a computer just list it and put a link for me if you have the time, i know i need fans i have the keyboard monitor and mouseand the dvd drive well thx here the specs i want also if two of the items dont work together please point it out.
