looks descent...shud get the job done for games...i wud jus throw a gtx 285 in for shitts and giggles :P

i really dont know how to compare an intel processor with an AMD one, ive always had intel so i know what their like, what make you choose the AMD one bomberboysk is there some sort of table where i can see how they compare.

I like the change you made to the GPU it actually looks stronger i had not seen that one BUT it does not have an HDMI output which i plan on using...IF there is actually a point to that

Well, socket 775 that the core 2 quad is on is being phased out, right now the only thing i would do is spend the $600 for an i7 mobo/cpu/memory, or go with a phenom II. Clock for clock, the intel is slightly faster, but the phenom II chips are great overclockers, and offer excellent bang for the buck, while being upgradeable in the future. And actually, that gpu does have hdmi out, there is an included adapter that converts dvi to vga.

ok thats cool then for the GPU ill switch to your one.

i don't have ANY experience over clocking so i need to know if its easy so that i might do it with this desktop.

also just saw that you made the memory to 4GB i know that amd doesnt work with 6gb but would you say 4gb is enough for running games?

Plenty, plus the intel doesnt work with 6gb either. 6gb is only for X58 based systems, eg- core i7. Overclocking isnt that hard, just takes some time to get it stable, plenty of guides around on the internet.

awesome anyone willing to teach me though...thats the question
Theres lots of good guides out there, if you have any issues, heck, give me an im(msn is listed on my profile). Post up your current list, can see if theres any places you can shave cost or add better parts at the same price;)

well, looking at the the parts you chose it looks like your build is better for the same price.

Could you post some of the links for overclocking?
oh i can run the windows 7 RC on it right? without installing vista/xp

another Q does it have room for maybe another GPU for SLi/crossfire in the future?

Yes, the board is crossfire capable. Yes windows 7 RC will run on it. And here is the overclocking 101 here at computerforum, other guides can be found on various other websites/forums though:
