It would help knowing which company is selling it plus the make/model of the parts. Even so, US$1000 sounds a bit high for that configuration.

I don't know how to build one, and I'd be too afraid to mess it up. : (
there is always a first time in everything....thats why this FORUM is here....we are here to help. :D

First off, we cant get to that link.

But i think thats a little high, i would expect that to be around $800 if you buy the parts from www.newegg.com

Its really not that hard to build a computer, you can ask questions on this forum and we'd be glad to help you.

well at least its not a dell, i saw one the other day on tv and was vry bored so priced it out on newegg, ~550$ overpriced

Whatt is the make and model of (1) the moptherboard and (2) the PSU?

Notice how the model/make of the parts aren't listed... not a good sign... also, no motherboard is listed.

HP seems to not list the most important parts of computers, although of the three I've taken apart they've all had Asus motherboards.

the only company that i know of that tells u specific parts is alienware b/c the ppl getting those usually know alot about computers, people who get hp's,dells, gateways, etc usually dont know much about computers so there is no reason to post anything specific b/c it wont matter to the buyers
