New Computer

I am ging to buy a new computer but have not yet seen on that accomodates dual layer blank DVD discs to copy video
Would anyone out there know of any computers (under $600.) that does?

Actually, they dont.
I spoke to a DELL tech and only certain (expensive) models do ...

Expensive ones? Then why can you go buy one right now at any computer store for under $20? I guess they are trying to get as much money out of you as possible then.

Get the new computer and buy a drive that will burn duel layers and screw it in, its easy just 2 cables and 4 screws.

I'm willing to be my PC John knows more than 98% of Dell techs.

Assuming you have SATA connections on your motherboard this will work.

I wouldn't listen to much to Dell, as someone else has already said they are just trying to get you to spend as much money as possible and to be honest these drives aren't that expensive so again buy the computer and just upgrade it. It is a very simple upgrade, 4 screws and a couple of cables.
