Hi guys it's time to upgrade and I have two offers from which i can't choose.
They are the following:
Intel i5 661 with CM hyper 212 EVO
GB h55ms2h
Gigabyte gtx 670 OC
raptoxx 600W Professional
1TB hard WD black 64 MB 7200 RPM
8Gb Kington 1333Mhz

AND THE SECOND OPTION is:
Intel i5 3470 stock cooling
ASRock H77 PRO4-MVP
SAPHIRE HD 7850 OC
CM SILENT PRO M700
WD 500gb 32mb 7200rpm black drive
2x4GB Vengeance DDR3 1600Mhz

The computer will be used for gaming on a SAMSUNG P2270HD I'll be playing the latest games like BF3 and GW2.

Many thanks in advance!

Second one has overall better parts - newer processor, better RAM, better motherboard.

Where are you buying this from and how much is it going to cost you? You could build one for cheaper.

As spirit said, the second one is much better.

Although, I recommend building your own. I'm half way through my first build as well :). It's not as hard as most people think; with some YouTube videos and by looking around this forum you'll be able to build you're own computer easily :).

^ Exactly, there are many members here, including myself, who would help you out. :)

ATM i have this setup:
Intel i5 661 Stock
GB h55ms2h
Palit gtx 460 SE
raptoxx 600WProfessional series PSU
1TB hard WD green
8Gb Kington 1333Mhz
and I can upgrade it just like the one in the first option or i can sell it and have money for the second option. They will cost me the same I am just wondering wheter i should get a superior GPU or balanced new build. And i am going to build it myself because i find it interesting,I just hope I dont mess anything up :D.I cant tell you the shop from which i am going to buy the parts because i live in Bulgaria where everything is overpriced:mad:.
Sorry for the bad english!

Yeah I think you should just build a new rig, that i5 runs on Socket 1156, and whilst it was an awesome socket back in the day (I know because I had an i5 760 which was a nice chip), it's outdated now. You'd get a more balanced build by selling what you have now and buying the parts for the other build.

Yeah but I am using it only for gaming and i think that processor can handle 1 year and also I think the performance in games would be a lot better with the gtx 670.

Yeah that i5 should last another year, I doubt it would really bottleneck a 670 to be honest (though that is a dual-core i5 you have there I think). If it were me I'd build a new system, but it's up to you.

Get a better power supply though, the one you have at the moment is from a brand I've never heard of.

Ok thanks for the advice!I have one last question. How many years do u think a 7850 will be able to run games on high?

Probably about 2-3 years I reckon, possibly longer. It all depends on what other hardware you're going to pair the 7850 with, what resolution you're playing at, what games you play.

Hmm i am playing at full hd resolution(1920x1080) and i play all the latest games like BF3 GW2 and so on.Do you think it will run the latest games 2 years?

Should do. Put it this way, my HD 5870 was made in 2009 and I'm still maxxing games from 2011 on it at 1080p, the 7850 is faster than a 5870 too.

Ok thank you all very much for the help.Do you think anything in this system could be improoved and still stay in the same budget

Which system? The one you have now? I'd upgrade the processor to an i5 750 or 760 if you can get one cheap, you have an i5 661 now right, LGA 1156 processor? I'd also change the power supply and get something of better quality, get a better graphics card too.

See it's more worthwhile just building a new system.
