so what do you think of this build:

CPU: amd athlon 64 3700+ san diego core
MB: asus a8n sli premium
Video Card: evga 7600gt co superclocked
Memory: 512x2 corsair xms ddr 400 pc 3200
HD: WD 80 Gig 10,000 rpm
PSU: Rosewill 500 watt (26amps on 12 volt)

any suggestions would be great.

What do you intened on using it for? Judging by the CPU it would be gaming in which case a bigger HDD is recomended and 2 GB of Ram wouldn't go astray either! And if that does leave any extra cash i would go for the 7800 GTX instead of the 7600GT.

Yeah, ditch the 10,000 RPM HDD and get a larger one instead. The performance difference isn't that significant, and you'll probably need to make use of the extra space. The A8N-SLI Premium is a bit of overkill for the rest of the system, unless you plan to use the SLI feature, something like the A8N-E might be better (also leaves money for a CPU upgrade). The 7600GT is a good card in the budget, if you do decide to upgrade the 7900GT is great, but expensive.
