New computer?

I was wondering, if I were to build a cheap and/or decent computer how much do you figure it'll cost? in usd. total cost for everything, mobo, cpu, dvd+r, cd, usb ports, case, powerunit, cheap graphics card or decent, hard drive and ram. (important note : not going to be used for games). ball park figure for a cheap computer and/or a decent computer.

You could build a pretty cheap computer if you'r not gaming


Maybe 500-600 USD

I'm not totally sure though, It's just that I'm building a gaming machine for about $1500 Canadian

if your not gonna game at all, im sure you can build a good computer 4 around $350-$400..

watching or streaming video's, uploading and downloading video files, listening to music, nothing much really. might dable with a bit of video editing, always wanted to make one of those cheesy amv's of my own . a little messing around with photo editing... i cant seem to think of anything else atm.

I think a bit more RAM would be helpful if your gonna do video editing.

Maybe add another gig of RAM

It depends how far you would go on editing things to upgrade it. Another 512mb or gig would be very good though like suggested. Either than that good find.
