New computer

I'm am interested in buying a new desktop-

this one seems to have everything i was but I'm unsure? budget $850

requirements-
2gb of ram or more
dual core processor
NTSC and ATSC tuner
Remote
500gb HD
DVD Burner
S-video out(this one doesn't have one- any recommendations for another card?)

well it has all that you want, dual core CPU, 3 GIGS! (overkill), 500 GB HDD..... But the video card is seriously lacking....

If you arent worried about gaming pretty much besides wow, then go for it, but otherwise you are gonna need to upgrade that card

Nice rig... Compliments of the 6000+, I would just pop a 2600XT or 8600GTS in that... Maybe the PSU will suit it...

why is 3gb of ram overkill?

and will it work fine with recording TV with 3gb of ram?

It would be a great computer for pretty much anything except gaming. I believe they used 3GB because they have a 32 Bit OS, and dont want to waste money on another gig when it can't be used.

Why don't you just let me build you one. Upgrading is limited with Factory computers.
