New Controlled board for HDD

I have a 1.5TB WD Green HDD. When I was removing it from the case i accidentally snapped off the plastic that holds the sata connectors in place, so now they are just pertruding out. I found the plastic and got a sata cable connected to it but it is pretty loose right now. Is there anywhere I can just buy the green controller board that has all the SATA connections on it and replace that instead of having to buy a whole new HDD?

Not unless you find someone with a drive that mechanically failed, and has the same Firmware and hardware revisions.

well i got the connector back on but since my mobo was DOA i havent had the ability to see if i can still read it, so i dunno what state its in


anyone know where i would be able to find just a controller board?
