Does anyone know of a good CPU fan for AMD athlon 2800 barton. The current fan that i have does around 5500 rpm and is very loud and my computer gets up to around 63 degrees C (around 140 degrees F). Preferably a fan that does 6000-7000 rpm and is about the same loudness as a power supply fan.

1. RPM doesnt mean crap
2. Thermalright XP90 + Panaflo FBL09A12M make a nice combination

I don't know if you're still reading this thread blakeyboy, but XP90's are like impossible to find now, I tried. You should get the MCX 462v from Swiftech, I got that. It's just a heatsink, but it fits all Socket A boards, and it can handle the Tornado (119cfm 92mm cooling fan, most powerful 92mm fan). I was looking at the HT-101 from Aerocool and the Volcano 12 but I asked some people, and even though those fans are great, the MCX462 is the best for overclocking according to most people. So you should get the Tornado and MCX462v Socket A, it's about $60 for both and you can get them both from newegg.com
