Is it possible for me to buy a new cpu for my mobo that has a faster FSB speed than my current? I currently have an AMD Athlon XP 2400+ and wanted to switch it up with a faster processor but my mobo's manual says that it:" Supports AMD Athlon XP, Athlon and Duron CPU with FSB up to 333MHz."
So im assuming that means i cant buy a processor that has a processor with a FSB greater than 333MHz?, Right? Or, is there any way to replace the FSB on my mobo with a faster one, or am i just stuck with the option of buying a new motherboard as well as a cpu?
Thanks.
