Hello people, I wanna buy a new CPU. I have Celeron D 360 (3,46 GHz) And I want a Core 2 Duo. What do socket, Bus and L2 mean, and does it really matter?
And most Core 2 Duo have speeds between 1,8 GHz and 2,2 GHz. Does this (not so big) difference really matter? I mean of course it 2,2 is faster than 1,8, but is the difference similar to the difference between Pentium 4 1,8 GHz and 2,2 GHz or is the difference between the Duo's much bigger?
And now perhaps the most important question, can I just pull my celeron out of my computer and put the new processor in it?
