He just fried his computer, didn't he? Or is he trolling?

cha2_fan = Chassis Fan 2
pwr_fan = PSU Fan
cha1_fan = Chassis Fan 2
chip_fan = Chipset fan (I think)

yea im saying do i need to connect all those fans inorder for it to work?

Do you know what those fans are for? Fans are cooling devices. You did not connect the cooling devices, yet you tried to boot your PC. My guess is that either it over-heated and you fried it, I'm not sure how long the heatsink will last without a fan (Correction -- I do not believe there even is a heatsink on those)-- OR, it won't boot if those are disconnected, I don't know, I've never tried. Read through the manual again, you'll see what to put in there.

the most common thing for me when building new systems and not having them start up 1st time is the power connecter from the front of the chasis not being connected to the right spot on the mobo.

It would run with the heatsink on, but it would be running very hot. Check everything is in right and that the on switch etc is wired in correctly.

i did connect 2 fans to the power supply..keep in mind i turned the psu on(from the back) press the power button...nothing turned on..i was expecting for the cpu fan, or the extra 2 fans to turn on but they diddnt..the extra fans i have dont have the 2 pins for the mobo connection..i didnt hear anything get fried but im no expert..so any more info would help thanks

im not sure wut the chasis etc is....im saying the fans i have dont hav that 2 pin for the mobo..please if anyone is familiar with this problem and know a solution ..

have you checked your front panle copnnections to your mobo? they control the on/off switch, make sure they are set correctly.

You did press the power button in the front of your computer right?

Make sure ALL fans are conected. Did you remember to place standoffs?

2 pin? You mean 3 pin? You can also just conect it to the PSU via a molex conector if your fans dont have 3 pin conectors.
