New Desktop For Gaming

Hi, I would like to build a desktop for gaming, and have already made a list as below.

However, I don't know how many watt of power supply I would need, and have I missed anything else out or need to upgrade/downgrade anything ?

I believe the GPU may not be a good option as many comments said it is too hot.

Please give me some advice.

You need about a 650w PSU, unless you're gonna be using two cards, then go for a 750w. Look into antec, corsair, PC power and cooling, silverstone, seasonic, or xfx.

Might as well go for a 2500k. And get a better motherboard that supports faster RAM, like 1600mhz.

Look on newegg for better pricing, guarantees, and shipping.

First of all, thanks for all your replies as above.

However, I feel confused right now, and I doubt whether the combination of the parts as on my above list are good. Some questions came out from my mind after I reviewed the details about i5-2500K, like do the GPU (GTX 560) I chose suit to the CPU (i5-2400)? If so, should I upgrade/downgrade one of them.…

Honestly, I didn’t have any budget when I started to make the list at the beginning. I started it with i5-2400, and thought the final price should be affordable to me. However, it didn’t work as there are actually too many combinations to make me get lost.

Could I ask for your help to give me some suggestions, or simple a list?

If possible, I would like to have a desktop around $700 (or up to $800 if necessary). It will be for a small business and gaming. I need to spend most of the time to work, so I am not going to overclock the parts by myself. I would like to enjoy the time for the games when I can. But of course, it is good if the parts come with overclock defaulted.

Thanks for all.

This is like 655 so far. That just leaves a case and optical drive - With what you already have that's around 800. Unless you use crap parts, you can't really get an i5 build down to 700....Though if you aren't overclocking, I would get the i5 2500 instead of the 2500k, that would save a little.
