New Desktop problem

When i stand my case up, the temperatures get REALLY high, which turns the computer off entirely. When i sit the case on its side everything is fine.

Does anyone have any idea of why this could be. I do not want to leave my case sideways.

Could the weight of the cooler be pulling it away from good contact with the CPU?

well it has to be installed correctly because its been fine for weeks now. This just happened today.

I would check the cooler make sure clipped, clamped, etc down correctly.

WOW, that was the problem...and now my temps are lower than when i first built the system.

Guess i just learned the hard way how important the heatsink is.

cooling issue .

In that case there must be issue with the fan of the cabinet . which is there in the cpu .
