I purchased this yesterday, hp Pavilion Elite e9120y, from here:

also bought a Gateway monitor (HD2201)... got the monitor for $99.99 USD.
My question is about speakers. Oddly there weren't even any cheap speakers included. My interest is mostly in viewing video, i.e. torrents, math and science, and online "TV". What do you guys suggest, with a home theater feel and within a reasonable budget (reasonable = 50-150 USD).
One other thing, as I am VERY new modern computing (my last pc was bought in '04 and was rather low end), where do I acquire, locally, an HDMI cord or is buying online my best bet?
I hope I enjoy this machine as it was a big investment for me!
Thanks all
