I've just discovered these forums and was wondering if anyone knew of any big technologies expected to come out in the next 9-10 months. I will be researching computer parts in order to ultimately build my dream computer around May 2011 (done with college, more time for gaming). For my graduation present, my parents have said they would pay for half of the cost of my computer, so I will have a decent budget for my desktop. Until then, I will be looking for what is the best parts for my budget (3-4k), and possibly buying a few if there's any newegg sales or I can find a good used one. Just wanted to hear any information anyone had on upcoming developments with hardware, whether it be RAM, video cards, or processors. Thanks a lot
