hi

i tried to put one of those mini CD's into my vertical DVD burner drive and it got stuck and now the door wont close, its one of those burners that are vertical as its in a small computer so because its vertical it got stuck and now it wont close . so im interested in buying a new external cd burner for only 19 bucks which is cheap here in Australia.

I have one question about this, so if it comes with a CD for the driver will i need to use my broken cd burner? or can i use the external new one to load the CD with the driver? if it requires me to use the broken existing CD burner to load the CD that holds the drive, it wont load.

here is what im interested in buying:

You shouldn't really need to install any drivers for it as it will just be picked up as a CD drive within windows,This is my experience from getting an external a couple of days back.

Depends on what OS your running,Im sure if you have Windows 7 or 8 you will be fine.
