I WAS WONDERING WHY PEOPLE TYPE IN CAPS, DON'T THEY KNOW ITS RUDE TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS? :) Just Kidding man. You should get a (Blu-ray-R/DVD-RW/CD-RW)

Blu-rays aren't exactly worth it on computers, yet, but if you got the cash, go for it.

Just get a dvd burner, blue ray will have its place when the prices come down. In another year you will probably be able to pick up a blue ray burner for under $100. When dvd burners first started coming out they were $500 or more. Look how much they cost now.

Lol, I have a 2X CDROM drive that uses its' own controller card, so I hear it was 600-700$ when new, now you cant even find a new optical drive that wont at very least be a DVD-ROM, my first DVD-RW drive was ~80$ and the SATA one I bought for the new rig was 28$

So yeah, Blu-ray will come down to something more reasonable before 2009 ends, 250$ for a drive that you cant even use as much as a DVD-RW is too much ;)

ETA: And by cant use as much, I mean Blu-ray isnt that wide spread yet, odds are you wouldnt be using the blu-ray function on the drive as much as the CD/DVD functions
