Total cost is $1090. A little higher than I wanted but I think most of these parts are pretty damn good. I chose a cheaper mobo since I won't be OC'ing and the case will have turd loads of airflow. I will also be using the HDD from my previous build.
The case has some really good reviews for its price, but I had to add all the extra fans so it comes out to about $90. Unless there is any other really good ones out there like this for airflow, I think this would be a solid choice.
I haven't seen much news on the AMD 8000 cards. It sounds like they might actually be pretty damn fast but I really don't want to wait unless there is some benchmark I haven't seen that would show that they smoke the 7000 series.
Also, no flaming me for being an AMD "fanboy." They have supreme bang for the buck that Intel and Nvidia just don't provide. I don't have a big budget to work with in the first place.
Another question is about keyboards. I have looked at quite a few but am not sure which one would be a good balance between typing and gaming or if there is even any significant difference.
