My 1st gen g5 is dying so I was considering purchasing a new mouse. Recently it has been randomly disconnecting and reconnecting when I am in-game. The new mouses I was going to choose from were the razer lachesis, razer copperhead and g5 once more. Can anyone tell me which is best (I'm hesitant on getting the g5 as mine broke after 8 months).

8 Months? Your still under warranty, send it back to logitech and get a replacement
(warranty is three years)

Open box or refurbished? Even a refurb should have at least a one year warranty... If not though, id get a new G5. NEW being the key word here, its got a 3 year warranty
