Great forum!!! First post here....Just need some thoughts from someone who knows more about computers than myself...Which I take most of you in here do.

I want a new PC, I've spend hours on the net trying to find the best PC fitting my budget 900-1200 dollars!

So here is the best I think I've found...Is it ok for the price or should I be aware of anything?

* INTEL i5 3570K 3.4GHZ (3.8GHZ TURBO) UNLOCKED (OC READY)
* ASUS P8Z77-V LX Motherboard, USB3,SATA6G,
* GTX660 2GB DDR5 DUALFAN (OVERCLOCKED) GPU, MSI TWINFROZR III
* COOLERMASTER HYPER-TX3 Low noise
* 550W XFX PRO SERIES 80+, Low noise PSU (By SEASONIC)
* COOLERMASTER GAMERKABINET ELITE430
* 500GB HARDDISK, 7200RPM, SATA 6G
* 8GB DDR3 1600MHZ HYPER-X RAM, KINGSTON
* ASUS 24x DUALLAYER DVD drive
* 8CH (5.1 & 7.1) SURROUND LYDKORT
* 8x USB (2 of them are USB 3.0) (2 on the front, 6 on the back)
* GIGABIT netcard (1000Mbit)

***changing COOLERMASTER GAMERKABINET ELITE430 to COOLERMASTER SILENCIO 450 for 20 Dollars.

Total price 5099kr or 1078 dollars.

I'm not a computerwiz, I won't and can't build it myself so this is ofc a prebuilt machine from a shop.

Good day to you all

Well are you saving the rest 100$ for OS??
if not then GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-D3H, cooling CM hyper evo 2012, If you are going to get GTX 660 the get a Gigabyte Windforce 660, or if the budget is still there you can go for a 7870 for 7950.
Rest system looks good to me.

nono ill run with my old OS, since it's prebuilt the page where I get it from won't let me upgrade the GPU further.
You are better of buying parts and building one with help of a professional, that will give you more room to upgrade as ASUS P8Z77-V LX Motherboard is quite good as the UD3 series and 660 won't last for more than 1-1.5 years in gaming.

Don't know anyone who would build it for me ;) at least don't know anyone well enough who would build it for me without a fee :p

It's honestly not difficult to assemble it yourself, there's quite a few comprehensive online guides available that take you through the process, such as this one: http://youtube.com/watch?v=NSNz6VVpWI8

Regarding your build, it looks pretty good. I'd swap out the mobo for the non LX version, or go for something from the Gigabyte D3H line. I'd also go for the GTX-670, with that budget it seems feasible and would be a worthy upgrade, especially for running games at higher resolutions on higher settings. If you ever want to run a multiple monitor gaming setup, it'll be a must.

Your RAM looks fine, but if you ever want a faster dual channel setup you'd need to exchange it for two 4GB sticks. If you have any budget left over, you change the 500GB drive for a 1TB Caviar Black, or even add an SSD to boot Windows and all your applications.

This is a build (I live in Denmark too) I've composed and suggested to a friend of mine.
It, kind of, requires you to overclock the CPU, if it has to compete with new Intel CPUs, but you can reach 4.2GHz and keep temps low with this setup.
And EvanK, here in Denmark a GTX 670 2GB costs 3000kr, which is more than half of the entire budget :)
However, I am looking at the PC you can buy, and I almost cannot believe it. Could you please link it?
My build is without Windows, so you would have to add another 700kr or pirate it.

Hej Jiniix, there is actually an error in the price I wrote, it says 5099kr, it should have been 5999kr. :) the Pc I found comes without windows too. Also my problem is that I can't assemble a computer myself T_T so I'm stuck with what the shops has to offer...I can give u a link to the PC I found, just not sure if links are allowed on this forum (new here) anyways here it is http://topdata.dk/product.asp?product=8601
