So i first want to say that im totally new to building my own pc, and i apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge or any dumb questions i ask. Im looking to build a system on a budget of about $1400 without monitor, os, keyboard/mouse, that i guess would be considered a "gaming computer". While I do plan on playing games on it I think ill use it much more frequently for other uses such as watching movies, music, multiple web pages, some video editing, a little bit of school work and multi tasking with all of the above. I do also plan on overclocking the processor and video card. When i first started doing research on a new computer and custom PCs one of the first sites i found was ibuypower.com. Im sure many of you have heard of it, and it seemed like a good solution to me- it allowed me to customize my pc without paying for an os or software i don't need that i would get if i bought a computer from a company like dell and having someone more experienced building it, eliminating the risk of me screwing something up if i built it myself. I just wanted to get opinions from people more knowledgeable and experienced then me on the subject- Is ibuypower a good site or is there a better site or am i just better off doing this on my own?
