Hey. I dont know much about computers, which is why I joined this forum, to ask more tech savvy people and learn.

I have a really basic computer at the moment that I can't run almost ANY games on and I wanted to save up some money and get a new one for my personel use for stuff like browsers games, DVD movies, iTunes, VideoGames (Like Halo, F.E.A.R, Call Of Duty, G.R.A.W [online play too] etc...), using a LCD moniter 16" - 19".
I want it to have a decent video card, and memory.
I have the link to what I think is a pretty good one (To see it click, HERE)

Should I buy the one above? If not is there a computer better than this one under $1000?

You could build the same system for cheaper and also get a graphics card,
but it's not a bad system. You could throw a nice graphics card in it and be
good to game.

Not bad, but a little too expensive for what you're getting.

BUT, prebuilt systems come with tech support. Something
you won't get if you build your own. That's worth something
I guess.

that's wayyyy overpriced and it won't play your video games well. You should consider building your own. For a budget of $1000 it would make much more sense.

Three things right away...

#1 - There's no Video Card! You can't seriously game with that on-board chip.
This brings us to...

#2 - If you did have a good gaming card, the "300" Watt PS would be struggling at best!

#3 - You could accept the Vista Home Premium, but, if you build, you can get the Vista Ultimate x64 "for System Builders" you can break the 3GB Memory barrier.

See the system in my sig. Everything there(sorry...not a Quad-Core) "including" OS, a little over $750.00 at...

Good Luck!
