New gaming pc

Hey everyone im looking at getting a new gaming pc and was wondering if you all thought this was:
1. Is this good value?
2. Is there any components I should add of change?

Im willing to spend slightly more if its going to improve the performance.

Below is the specs of the computer
Case: Antec Three Hundred
Power Supply: Thermaltake Toughpower 600W
Processor: Core i7 920 8MB Cache Socket 1366
CPU Cooler: Prolimatech Megahalem CPU Cooler
Graphics Card 1: Radeon HD4890 1GB GDDR5 PCI-Express

The total cost is £1326 which is approximately $2000.

Right looks good, i do not know the PSU, but here i found a review

You might as well get the later verison of the processor the 930, here it is

GPU?? - why not the 5850 it is later version.
standard Mobo,
Hard drive, would recommend buying a very fast one, SSD, or the velociraptor. and small, if SSD around 128GB, and if the velociraptor then 150 GB, if want cheaper than the velociraptor, i think its around 130 pounds.
i think thats it. i guess you could use the included CPU cooler if you are not going to overclock or anything.
otherwise very nice set up. waiting for other to comment.

It come up around £1200 if you build it yourself.

Video card - don't get 4890, get 5830/ 5850

Optical drive - get a blu-ray combo drive or add a dvd burner

Monitor: which one are you refering to?
 
the monitor is 22" TFT monitor (5ms response time)

It's £118 with the deal, do you think I should just by one separetly?

i suppose that does include the screen, keyboard, copy of windows, mouse, so prety good deal, i mean screen if you say 118, + windows say 70 pounds, + keyboard/mouse say 60 pounds, so that comes to 248 pounds. so the computer itself costs around 1080 pounds. i think for the specs that they give you, especially the GPU, ok the cheapest price for it i could find was 135 pounds, the processor would be around 200, and the other bits you have there not including the screen, keyboard, copy of windows, mouse, would be around 510 pounds, so together if you build your own with the specs that you gave us it would cost you around 860 + P&P, which is cheaper. i am trying to keep this as real as possible but my prices are made up, but speaking from reasonable grounds.
so as pointed out by daisymtc, if you build your own you could increase performance for the same price of what you are getting now. tell us if you want the forum to build you a rig!
 
I am considering building it myself if it will save me as much as you said.
The parts I picked are just off a website so there wasn't much choice.
If I built it myself and had a budget of roughly £1200 what would you recommend

Altogether 1330 pounds. Ok a bit more than what you have now (hmm, 130 pounds more above budget sorry about that), but i think people would agree a much better set up. I kept your PSU, Ram, Case, Blu ray drive.
I hope this helps, if need a bit cheaper i hope other could recommend. or if other think that something i picked is not so good then they would comment.
