So I have decided after getting a nice bonus at work to not upgrade my current system and to build myself a new system. Let me know what you think. Total cost is about $1,500 after tax (excluding monitor, OS, & PSU). Here are the specs:

Video: Sapphire Radeon HD7870 OC 2GB
Drive: LG 14X Blu-Ray burner
Case: NZXT Phanton full tower, white w/ additional fans

All awesome stuff, are you gonna overclock that 3570K?

Can I just ask why you went for quad-channel RAM when the 3570K and the Z77 boards only support dual-channel speeds? Your quad-channel RAM will work with no issues whatsoever but it will only be running at dual-channel speeds.

K, here is the first pic of the build. All the shinny boxes!

Here's a pic of it all put together! So nice being able to have the cables routed behind the motherboard and out of site!

I've got my I5 sticker on the front. Nothing else. IMO more than just 1 or 2 is a bit of an e-penis competition.

Question; what do you guys think of stickers on the case? Like the one that came with the CPU, video card, and ram?

Your build looks good. One thing one, there's a cable management hole in the top left corner of the case especially for the CU power connector, so see if you can put the CPU power connector through there.

Regarding the stickers, I have 4 of them on my case. I have an i5 inside sticker, a G-Skill sticker, an ASUS sticker and a Sapphire Radeon sticker. They look fine but it's up to you how many you stick on, and of course if you change the hardware the stickers are a right pain to get of.

Bought 3DMark 11 and 3DMark Vantage today and ran them, here are the numbers! Had to run 3DMark 11 like 4 times because MS Security Essentials would say it could be a malicious program.

Thanks. It was either going to red, black or a white case. I was tired of black, didn't really care for the red one so went with the white. I still want to fill the 2 empty fan spots with 200MM fans for a total of 7 fans (4 in, 3 out), but you have to buy NZXT's 200mm fans as other ones don't line up.

So I took and ran Prime95 for about 10 minutes and it looks like the Hyper 212 is doing a good job. It's funny though, while at idle my CPU core #2 & 3 run the coolest and the #1 & #4 running slightly hotter.
