New GPU for around $50

My mom's 6600GT overheated and fried due to the fan not spinning. So I am looking for a new video card for her. She does a lot of photoshopping so I want to make sure it is quality enough for that. It should also be a decent card for Windows Vista if she decides to upgrade. It has to be around $50. Any ideas?

The 7300GT would actually be a good choice for around $40. It performs similarly to a 6600GT game wise, but has all the features and advantages of the 7 series.

Does the video card post at all? And does the fan spin when you first turn on the comp?

Ya but the display is very messed up. I took a screenshot and viewed it on another computer and it's fine. That means it must be the video card, not the LCD. The fan was only stopped from spinning by a wire holding it back so there is nothing wrong with the fan.

It's a good card, but since shes not a gamer (that I know of ), I would go with one of the newer cards that have better video/image quality, such as the 7xxx series or X1K series. Perhaps an x1300?

I'm just going to propose some ideas to her and see what she goes for. I don't care too much what she gets as long as it's not a POS, which I wouldn't let her get anyways.
