New GPU

Hi guys,

A couple of weeks ago my PC crashed, and since I'm really bad with computers I had no idea what was wrong. Turns out my GPU broke, since the computer still works when using the built in GPU on the motherboard.
Now since I need to buy a new videocard, I thought why not get an upgrade so that I can play my games a bit better. I'm not looking to play games in 4k, just Overwatch on 60FPS with maybe medium settings would already be great.
I've already looked around a bit, and first I thought about the GTX 750ti, but then some people recommended me to get the GTX 950, or even the GTX 960. All of these seem great and they are around my price limit (€200).
So when I was about to make a decision, I found out that you can't just buy any videocard and hook it up to your motherboard, you actually have to make sure they are compatible. Since I don't know a lot about this stuff I did some Google searches, and now I'm even more confused.
I've already used some sites that enable you to check if your components are compatible, but I can't find my motherboard on any of those sites.
So my question is, can anyone tell me if the GTX 750ti, the GTX 950 and the GTX 960 are any good, and if they are compatible with my current build.

Current build:
AMD Zambezi FX-4100 QuadCore
MSI 760GA-P43FX
8GB DDR3 Corsair Ram
Nvidia GTX650Ti 1GB (Broken)
600 Watt Cooler Master powersupply

What I've read is that there is PCI Express x16 2.0 and PCI Express x16 3.0. If you have a 2.0 motherboard (which I believe I do) and get a 3.0 videocard, you lose about 50% of the performance? I've read that the GTX 960 is 3.0, so this is not an option then?

Thank you!

Hello

Negative. In a single card setup it would only be a percent or two, especially with lower end cards.

For your build the cards should be plug and play
Alright, thank you! I think that I'm going for the GTX 960 2gb, since the price difference with the 950 is really small. What brand would you suggest? I've seen a lot of them and all of them seem to have small differences.

How about RX470?
How much is it at your country?

Yeah I've heard someone talk about that too, but most people told me to go for the GTX 960, so eventually that's what I decided to go for, since it's also more available in the small shops around my area

You might as well just get a 1060 for that range.

You could probably find some price cuts on the 970 since it's last generation.
