New Graphics Card Problem.

Hello, i have a problem and i was wondering if you guys can help me.
My Pc is Advent t9206.
I have Just bought a new graphics card ( Nvidia Geforce 8600 PCI-E 512mb ) and i am having a problem
On the box it says your PC must be Covered by the 400W minumum, But mine is 350w.
So i thought it should be okay and i removed my old graphics card and put my new one in.
When i turn my PC on the fan just makes noises and the computer screen just goes black and nothing boots up, i have tried removing the graphics card and replacing it but the same thing still happens.

I then put my old graphics card back in, but this will now not work, the screen just crashes at The start and nothing else boots up.

I was wondering if anybody can help me? thanks :)
 
Hmm, try clearing you cmos and putting the old card back in first. Because you need to uninstall the driver for the old card before you put in the new card, then install drivers for the new card.
