I want to buy a nvidia 6600gt(AGP) but there so many to choose from wich company make the best 6600gt or what should i look for when i buy one.

thank you.

I would like tu use it for gaming. Do you mean would my system support the card or would games.

I currrently have an ATI Radeon9600 XT and when I play Halflife 2 in high settings its really slow. Its the 6600gt a good card for halfl2 or upcoming games. My budget is around 200$.

Pentium4 3.0ghz
Ecs 848p-a
Radeon 9600xt
Crucial 1gb pc3200

You could buy Gigabyte brand 3D1 6600gt. Hey, are you gonna set up an SLI (dual graphics cards)? Or just one? Get the right one (AGP or PCI-express)

Doest make a world of difference. I'd go for the cheapest one

Depends on what you want to yse it for if it's for games you want to see if the graphics card is supported
1. Game support is inconsequential
2. "What you intend to use it for" has little to nothing to do with deciding on which specific OEM to go with

You could buy Gigabyte brand 3D1 6600gt.
But then you'd also have to buy the accompanying motherboard

Well for $200 you cant really do much better....
