New graphics card

I recently bought a new computer
Processor: AMD Athlon II X4 630 Processor 2.8GHz
RAM: 4 Gb

And have a 27"" acer LCD widescreen, but games are still a little laggy ,
was wondering what video or graphics card i can so i can make games full screen because i currently have them on windowed mode,
And push the fps up higher.
I am living in Australia and budget is pretty much not major issue for me .

um whats your budget and where are you based.
if money isnt to much of a problem you'll want something like an ati hd5870 but they are still kinda expensive.

Please download PC Wizard from my sig and install it. Run it and go to FILE, SAVE AS, rename the text file as anything you like and save it to the desktop. Copy the text out of that file into this thread.

In the same thread, post the PSU model, manufacturer and 12V rail amps (if you can).
Open the side of your computer and read the sticker on the PSU and record it.

Then we can answer your question.

The GPU you get will greatly depend on the PSU you have. If you're going to get a 5870 or even a 5770, you should have at least a 500W PSU. If you bought a prebuilt computer they usually skimp on the PSU, so that might be something you'll have to upgrade while you upgrade your GPU. Since price is not an issue it sounds like you'll be able to do that too if you need to!
