So I previously posted here about basically the same thing and got really great answers so thanks for that guys, but I have found a new graphics card that I want and want to know if I get it will I be able to play games like Star Wars Force Unleashed 2 and Fable 3 type games and if it'll work with my motherboard or case.

MY PC:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6850 @ 3.00GHz, 3000 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)

That is all the information I used for the previous thread so I hope you guys can work with it cause I don't know the greatest amount about computers but have come a little way since my last post.

Again thanks guys and I hope you can help me.

Hi mate, and welcome to the boards!

Although, I think you have made a copying & pasting error, by saying this:

That isn't a graphics card. :P

Anyways, a major factor that plays a role when buying a new graphics card is your Power Supply Unit (PSU). Try opening up your case, and finding the power supply box inside your case. Typically, it is located at the top-left of the case, in the corner at the top, screwed on from the back. Provide us with the brand & model, and wattage it delivers. :)

Based on the games you said you want to play, I'm sure any PSU will be able to handle such a graphics card.

If you require additional advice, just ask. ;)

Your PSU can also be located at the left side bottom, if it isn't in the top left, like NVX said.

Haha duh my bad this is the new graphics card I want

Graphics card:

PNY VCGG2105XPB GeForce 210 Video Card - 512MB DDR2, PCI-Express 2.0, DVI, HDMI, VGA, Low Profile

any my PSU is a 350W

So Aastii told me I will need a better PSU so thats out of the way.

But this graphics card is cheap but was recommended to me, will it be able to handle games like Star Wars Force Unleashed 2? Cause I really want that game. And fable 3.

Not very well. If you have the money, purchase a cheap but reliable PSU such as the corsair CX400W, and get a HD57**, 56**, 55**, GTX460 768MB, GTS250, GT240, or even GT220, depending on budget. You won't see a huge performance increase from G210 and decent integrated graphics :P

a GT210 isn't a gaming card, was never intended to be, and never will be. It is indeed cheap, and it is cheap for a reason, that reason being it can't do anything but play old games or play videos. For a HTPC, it is great, for a gaming PC, it is a pile of crap.

You can get, off the egg

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.514500

$125 after rebate, which is a hell of a good deal. The card will be playing any game you throw at it for a while to come, and the power supply is plenty good enough for anything out now, so you have a unit there that is good enough to upgrade to anything out now, or that will be out for some time to come

Good combo, I'd take it, don't think the two games you mentioned are DX11 anyway

For the budget (which I assume isn't very high because of possibly getting a GT210) any DX11 capable card, wouldn't be able to utilise it anyway, because performance would be crap; there is no point getting less than a 5750 with the hopes of playing DX11 games with DX11 and decent settings, it isn't going to happen. Just because "it is DX11" doesn't mean it will happen, just like the GT210, although it supports DX10, won't be palying DX10 games well, if at all

Point taken.

Okay new thing here and hopefully you guys see this post.

eVGA GeForce GTX 460 Video Card

Now I want this. I'm trying my best to wrap my head around how computer stuff goes and it's pretty difficult on forums so if anyone could possibly give me a step by step list of how to get this video card into my computer to play games like FABLE 3 and FORCE UNLEASHED 2. The two games I really wanna play :)

If you need anymore information just ask. Thanks.
