4890 is coming out and there will be a 2gb version. There is no word yet tho if there will be an X2 version. The 4890 has 100 mhz on the core and 50 more on the memory than the 4870 but other than that they are almost the same.

Just get the 295 through evga so incase they do release a card within 3 months you could step up to it
