New Hard Drive ideas?

I recently have gone into overdrive with gaming on my PC. My 80gb HD seems to have disappeared over night and I still have a ton of games I want to install. I'm looking for a drive in the $100- price range that's large and fast. I rather have a faster then larger one. I was thinking about going with Seagate b/c of the 5 yr warranty but anything that's in the budget and reliable will do. I know nothing about write speeds and stuff on HD so I was wondering if you guys could help me pick one out. Thanks.
 
well for $1000 you can get one with 7,200 RPM and 320GB, sounds good???

Any higher in RPM, you will be paying over $100.
 
yeah also dont get a cheap brand. Get something like samsung, maxtor, seagate.

All the cheap ones are terrible, generally based on copies of IBM deskstars. I had an cheapo "exelstor" one that like and it broke down after 4 months.
