hey if i wanted to buy a new hdd for my laptop would i have to re-install windows? as i havnt got a xp disc as it was alredy installed on it. how would i do this?
I have never reinstalled windows, just because of a HDD upgrade...??
Just get the HDD ready, set it as active, format it, and use a program to clone the HDD you already have and that should be it.
