Okay, so my motherboard has 4 SATA and 3 IDE spots. I have 2 SATA harddrives and 1 SATA DVD burner, so I decide to branch out and buy an IDE harddrive. I went into the bios and changed the drive type from "SATA only" to "Combined", however I can't get the new drive to show up. Ive had it in all three of the IDE slots and I've messed around with the master/slave jumper with no luck. Any suggestions? BTW, I'm using XP Pro.

I know it's late and I'm a little tired (3 in the morning here), but you're "just using all IDE and NO ide"?
