I apologize for the redundancy of this kind of post but ive been researching this for some time now and cant seem to ascertain which build would be best for my money. I have a budget of about 3,700 USD and would prefer a finance plan if possible. In terms of my gaming i mostly play either World of Warcraft or a FPS such as Call of Duty 4. Any aid that could be offered would be greatly appreciated

Are you comfortable to clock it for the future? Now that we know your gaming needs, what is this computer's major purpose?

With the games given, a quad core will due. IMO there are three quad processors that are worthy to purchase 1) Q6700 2)Q9550 and 3)Q9650 but since you have a high budget you can look into the Extreme version QX9770 but i would not recommend it. You can also purchase a very good i7 processor such as the 965.

Tiger direct offers a finance plan, add all of the items in your cart and then read their financing policy carefully. Interest rates are not too great right now, but it's your decision to make.

Good luck and give us an update!

Yes I feel comfortable overclocking it in the future. The primary purpose of the machine is gaming, i do some video editing but it isnt a vital activity on my computer. I had some questions about what you would recommend then for memory and a graphics card. This is a built computer i created, let me know if you believe it is worth the price.

Well $3,700 is alot of money :P I'm spending around $2,500-2,700 on my tower i'm keeping my screen keyboard speakers and Mouse :P (Logitech G11 Keyboard & Logitech 9 mouse they both kick ass)

you could probably get an i7 965, a rampage 2 extreme board, 6gb's of ddr3, probably a pair of 4870x2's, and either a pc power&cooling 1000w or the corsair 1000w psu, probably a couple 1tb drives in raid 1 for redundancy, you can pick whatever case/ drives you want, just so long as the case is atx compatible you'll be fine, and if you want you could have a couple 150gb velociraptors in raid zero for speed
