It's an exciting time for gaming peripheral fans who like to have the latest of the latest: high-end brands like Razer, Corsair and Steelseries have announced impressive new products. We're giving a small overview of a few of them.
Razer
Lancehead (TE)
The Lancehead is Razer's new addition to their wide range of gaming mice. With a 16.000 DPI Sensor, Adaptive Frequency Technology, Custom built mechanical mouse switches and Razer's signature Synapse Pro software and Chrome RGB Lighting, they are clearly aiming towards the highest end of the spectrum. The standard Lancehead is a high-responsive Wireless mouse and uses a Laser sensor, while the Tournament Edition variant is Wired and uses an Optical sensor.
Hammerhead BT
With the new Hammerhead BT, Razer is introducing impressive sound quality with the convenience of wireless bluetooth in-ears. Both compatible with Android and iOS, up to 8 hours of battery life, 10mm drivers with neodymium magnets and a built-in microphone, the only thing these in-ears might be missing is Razer Chroma. In any case, they seem to be worthy of their motto: "Hammering in the bass".
Corsair: Glaive RGB
Corsair certainly brings an interesting new player to the market in the highest end of wired gaming mice with the new Glaive RGB. As the name suggests, the mouse supports custom RGB LED lighting with the Corsair Utility Engine. Aside from that, it is sporting a 16.000 DPI Optical Sensor, High-performance Omron Switches and, interestingly, three interchangable thumb grips, to be as accomodating to the user as possible. The Glaive comes in an Aluminum and Black colored edition.
Steelseries: QcK Prism
For the gaming elitist, a fitting mousepad simply cannot be absent from your arsenal. The Steelseries QcK Prism is a dual-surface mousepad with independent zone RGB lighting, and has a very interesting "GameSense Lighting" function, where the color of the mousepad can be used to indicate various in-game statusses, such as low ammo, low health, cooldown timers and more. The QcK Prism can sync it's lighting color to other Steelseries peripherals the user may own.
