Depends if you really want one, I have one and it is a great tablet, fast & smooth, sharp detailed screen, the tesco launcher is very bloated, but hardly anyone uses any manufacturers launcher, I personally use Nova launcher.
Have you tried doing a fresh factory re-install of your android os, it could be it has just slowed down overtime due to junk build up, some people may say just run cleaners etc, but android is so easy and quick to factory refresh, it is probably easier and more thorough.

i have the old hudl but i find tablets can be limiting in what they can do. i prefer laptops in general as i find the laptop can do alot more than a tablet or iphone any day. i think laptops for me a much more robust, some of the newer styles out now a days seem flimsy my dell e6400 is solid with 3 gb memory. i even use my laptop on sites virtually every day. depending what i need from it depending on what im setting up. sometimes alarm systems sometimes internet connections sometimes cctv setups. i find the desktop computers very good from a speed and configuration point of view but desktop computers arnt very portable.
