So I am back to build my father a PC. Now the budget is $1000 but I don't plan to buy a GPU until he finds a new game so I can get him the best at the time. I am hoping by the time he finds one I can get him a DX11.
So budget is $750 or so.
Motherboard $169.99 (combo 1 $10)

CPU $199

Cooler $39.99 (have better thoughts? Will be overclocking)

Memory $95.99 (combo 1)

Antec 900 will be the case I have one left over from last year.
Price = $678.94
Now I like the PSU for the fact I use it and love it and he can later on SLI say 2x GTX 260s or w/e nvidia brings out (if they keep to the "green" movement)
The cooler I see has good reviews...has both auto fan + controller and has all the kits needed to hook up to the board...size is a issue but I found a link at tomshardware where it appears to fit like a glove.

My question is there better for the price? I plan to overclock the chip to 3.2ghz or so (and when he needs it further) I like the fact the cooler has a mirror finish (plan to buy one for me too
over my Xigmatek S1283 )
This system will be used for World of Warcraft and solitaire but he only upgrades once every 3-4 years and he asked me for a quad-core with the bells and whistles. I will also try to get him some better games as time goes by though.
I wanted to go I7 but he wanted to surprise my mom with some new stuff so the price went out of the range to much (and I just spent $360 on monitors so I am tapped)
Thanks for any opinions please note I do "hunt" for free shipping...less I spend on useless things the more I can dump into the system but I don't sacrifice quality.
