New Laptop Advice

I'm thinking about getting a new budget laptop. I want something cheap, with both some type of mobility and performance (but not gaming- I have my desktop for that).

This is what I'm thinking about so far:

Any suggestions of an alternative?
I'm taking summer classes and since I plan on spending a lot of time in the library, I just need something to take with me. I won't be doing much heavy work with the computer however: typing, reading (pdf/word files), internet browsing, video-chatting, "skyping", music, videos/movies, some burning, and very light work with photoshop.

I can't go over that price, but something cheaper would be extremely welcome, especially if you believe it can handle all the tasks listed above. With screen size, the smaller within that price range, the better, which is why I picked that 14". A 13" would be awesome though.

edit: The reviews mention being able to get that specific computer for $450. Would anyone know where?

lol. Okay, instead of helping me pick out a computer, maybe could someone find me benchmarks of mobile processors?
Including the pentium dual-cores, core duos, amd dual cores, and core 2 duos.

I think that you should go for compaq laptops if wanna buy a laptop in that range since compaq laptops are much better than acers...
