yea looks good kev, you got plenty memory, good size hard drive and 7200 is better than usual 5400, seems like a good graphics and screen package, cpu could have been faster buy hey its an i7

yeaahh the CPU could have been a little bit faster but my budget was under $1000... and considering what i do with my pc i probably wouldnt even need an i7... and its sandy bridge too

The fastest the Mobile CPU's go is 2.4GHz so not like that far off that and saved him $900. For you desktop guys that CPU is around an i7 870S and AMD Phenom II X6 1075T.

I like that model it has optimus. The price point is killer. Were did you buy from?

i think the amount of memory more than makes up for any slight loss in cpu speed, and led screen will look amazing !

powerpack can you explain optimus to me? it saves battery thats all i know xD

PowerNotebooks is good place, no Xotic but still good. Optimus switches from the discrete GPU to the on board when graphics demand is low, and vice versa. See if you can manually set to onboard and tell me how much battery life you get.

That is the model I am looking at in a 15.6. It will game some even though not a gamer per se. Weighs over a pound less and $400 cheaper than the NP8150
