New Laptop

Hey I'm new to the forum. This seems like a great site. I'm not very knowledgeable about computers, so i need some help purchasing a new laptop.
1. My budget is up to $1500.
2. I want a computer that can multi-task with no problems. Also I use my laptop to watch movies and listen to music. I don't play many games, so I don't need a laptop good with games. I don't want a laptop with a loud dvd player, so it doesn't distract me. Also i want a pretty big screen because i play online poker, and i play four tables at a time.

well if what you said is what u are going to be doing, then i do not think that that one is perfect. maybe spec it down a bit, so that it is cheaper.

lets see dual core and 1gb of ram for multitasking, big 17" screen (perfect for watching movies)

you need dual core to watch movies, wow my intel PM 2.0 is awesome for watching movies, in fact you could watch movies on a processor much worse. at the most a core duo if u want to multi task 1.66ghz would be enough surely. i agree with you on the ram.
