New Laptop

Not trying to start battles. I am looking for a new laptop. I was wondering if you all could help. below are my to options. The Intel Vs. Amd doesn';t effect me. The second notebook you posted looks very good for the price. What is your budget, and what will you be using the laptop for?

I am not a big gamer. i will ge just using it for studying, internet and burn dvds and things alot those lines. The Dell is about the highest I really want to go.

This notebook with the 1.66Ghz Core Duo, 1GB RAM, and a DVD-RW will be fine.

The first link didn't work for me, but I think I can already tell you that I would take a Dell over an Acer. Don't get me wrong, I have an Acer and I really like it, but man.... Dell...!

Anybody heard about the Toshiba Satellite. On notebook reviwes they are the most popular

I wouldn't really bother with brands other than Dell or Acer for notebooks.
