Hey guys, hope some of you guru's can help me.
I purchased a MAG Inovision LCD monitor to replace my CRT, and have an HP 523n computer.
Everything looks great except for any video or a DVD. It displays correctly for a few seconds and then has sort of an infared like appearence. This is only on video or DVD display.

Any thoughts on how to correct this?

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you.
I can't get a picture, so I'll try to describe...

When veiwing a web site or documents etc. they are displayed just fine. The color looks right. My display settings are at: 32 bit color, 1280 x 1024. When I try to view a video clip the colors are all wrong and the definition is not there. It looks a bit like a bad color negative. When I put in a DVD movie, same thing. The colors are wrong and has this same color negative effect.
The video card is an S3 Graphics Pro Savage DDR.
My DPI settings are at 120 (large). The monitor device settings are listed as: CRT. I am unable to change that.
I've tried downloading a driver from MAG, but either I'm not doing something right there or it's just not helping. This is a plug n play monitor.
When my CRT was plugged in there was no issue.

Hope this helps.
