I had a client contact me with a busted LCD screen ...
I ordered the replacement from a guy on eBay and it arrived an hour ago ...
Once connected, the LCD illuminates, but does not show the loading screens !
The original did the same, only it had the typical hammered lines all over it.
This one shows nothing, and when the old one is put back in, it is all them lines again!
(if anyone needs to see a picture, I'll get one up).
The laptop is a -
HP PAVILION DV9000
The original screen is -
LP171WP4 (TL) (B1) ...
and the replacement is a -
LP171WP4 (TL) (N1) ...
Is there perhaps an inverter I should have bought along with the screen ?
Any suggestions or help will be highly appreciated.
