New lcd suggestions

Hey everyone this is my first post here as you all can see.I'm pretty well versed in computers but I was checking in the forums for some up-to-date monitor suggestions and was wondering what you all recommend. I'm looking for a 22 inch lcd in the 3-450 dollar range that would be good for gaming.Thanks in advance.:D

Hi, my first pick would be this one:

second pick:

First one has higher contrast and better viewing angles than the 2nd one, but a little slower response (5ms vs 2ms)

Second one has slightly less contrast, slightly worse viewing angles but has a faster response.

Both are great, but If i was to pick one I'd go with the #1.

LG and Samsung suck, the best are Viewsonic, Acer, Dell, and Hanns-G. Hanns-G is a good budget monitor. Don't let Diorhomme tell you that you will notice a difference in 2ms and 5ms, trust me, you won't.

WHEN THEY'RE NOT SUPERCLOCKED, you are so wrong on that, I bet you don't even know how to OC a video card yourself, or what tool to use.

You were recommending a card for more money which performs worse. It's as simple as that, I'm done with that topic.
Now stick to the topic and show me a better 22" for the money.

why in the world would you pick a dell over the LG?

I would rather have a Dell, their monitors have lasted me forever. I have 3 15", low-end models at a local biz right now. They have been there for over 3yr's and no problems. I run 700:1 at home, my graphics are still good. 3000:1 is probably over-doing it. The Dell will last a long time, read the first comment on newegg about your LG.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005088
 
I did, best in it's class.
There's absolutely no indication that Samsung or LG won't last just as long as Dell or any other brand, and yet they perform better for the same money, it's all about getting the best for your hard earned cash, no such thing as "over-doing it".

Yes there is such thing, and just how will that 3000:1 Contrast ratio be used? Who would need that much?
